Verus is pragmatism meets innovation.

The firm is me (Toby Eduardo Redshaw) and a small tight-knit network (like the amazing Jen Snow) with three decades plus of driving/steering fast-cycle, innovation with impact. Strategy to mission to execution, Digitalization (demystified and made pragmatic) ,Future Proofing, Innovation Radar, Model Innovation, Cyber Security Strategy and Architecture (the two main root causes for failure), Cost Structure Transformation, AI/Big Data, IT Factory/Next-Gen Tech, Product Dev/Design, Social Impact, Innovation Improvement, Cultural Maleabiity, Change Management Superiority, Beyond Omni-Channel and HCO instead of HCM.

We work with four different groups: Enterprises, Government/Military, Start-ups, Not for Profits/Social Impact entities.

Demystifying the 4th Industrial Revolution, 5G, AI/Big Data and finding optimum, winning paths forward. We lead, we advise, we have strong opinions. We don’t embed. We have no solutions that include us permanently being there and we never tell you a regurgitation of what you told us. Sometimes you will not invite us back as we will tell you, in a private constructive way on occasion what you really don’t want to hear.

We work collaboratively. Cumulative IQ beats smartest person in the room every time. We bring relevant, experienced context.

“Context adds 80 IQ points” Alan Kay, Xerox Parc. “Lack of Context subtracts 80 IQ points” Toby Eduardo Redshaw

We are small we usually only work within two degrees of separation. Someone you know and trust should know someone who trusts us.

Example areas where we excel, have hands-on, leading experience:

  • Ensuring the vision to strategy to mission to structure to executable plan chain is optimized and effective at any and each stage. This delivers solutions that organizations can decisively execute

  • Digitalization (demystified and made pragmatic)

  • Future-proofing organizations on how to navigate technology influenced environments confidently to include risks and opportunities that will allow successful competition in the toughest environments including product development and design

  • Innovation radar provides insights into developing deep tech markets and Next Gen tech and process evolutions so that organizations can best understand when and where to invest in new acquisitions or how to compete more successfully

  • Model innovation and Innovation improvement to guide new or update existing innovation programs/models to meet future needs and ensure organizations can capitalize on both talent and technology to get the win

  • Cyber Security Strategy and Architecture (the two main root causes for compromise and failures in the market today) includes non-traditional experts and deep knowledge of how to stay on the leading edge in this fast-moving space. Fro example what is your Quantum Key Distribution plan ?

  • Cost Structure Transformation  best aligns your organizational goals, mission and vision with sustainable strategies built to save talent, time and resources while maintaining future focus

  • Understanding AI/Big Data and what these important tools mean for your organization from optimization to security

  • IT Factory rethink/improvement can guide your organization to the best solutions within an increasingly complex field of options and trends. If you aren't running IT as a factory with at least three completely different sectors managed differently you have an unrealized upside.

  • Social Impact - ho to think through and act on sustainable sustainability.

  • Cultural Malleability initiatives help leadership at all levels to understand cultural and organizational challenges, improve cost structure and agility, expand diversity within the workforce, and diversity of perspective. This leads to better-performing teams, top talent retention, greater creativity/idea generation, stronger innovation practices, and improved revenue generation.

  • Change Management Superiority drives improvement at the model level. This is key to effectiveness, cost structure, agility and execution.

  • HCO instead of HCM ... moving beyond Human Capital Management to a Human Capital Optimization model is the vanguard in leveraging talent and HR 'spend'.

  • Beyond Omni-Channel innovation is about getting to what's next with leading-edge strategy, engagement and options for the customers and partners you have and want. Omni-channel is nice but it's competitive advantage shelf life is over.
